To allow you to book cabins seamlessly, we embed an online booking application on our website managed by our partner platform, Beds24 GmbH (Germany).
- Functional Session ID: When using the booking layout, Beds24 deploys a temporary session identifier cookie (e.g.,
booking) tied strictly to our domain. This cookie is strictly required to hold your selected travel dates and chosen accommodations as you move through the multi-step checkout screen. It is anonymous, contains no personal information, and is deleted automatically when you close your web browser.
How We Handle Your Credit Card Details
If you choose to secure a booking by providing your credit card details, your payment data is securely processed via Beds24’s PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
- Storage and Purpose: Card details are securely vaulted inside the encrypted Beds24 booking backoffice solely to confirm your booking reservation or fulfill local payment processing.
- Operational Security: Access to these details is strictly restricted to one sole administrator. Card details are viewed securely and are never written down, shared, or saved locally on office computer systems.
- Automatic Deletion: In accordance with global financial security rules, sensitive payment parameters (such as security codes) are erased as soon as the booking is confirmed, and the remaining credit card details are completely purged from the system automatically within a few days following your checkout date.
Your Rights Under GDPR
As a European citizen under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold regarding your booking history. Since we do not run user registrations or comment sections on this site, any data we maintain is strictly tied to administrative reservation logs and local invoice requirements.
